News and Updates2011 Golf Tournament CSDDA Holds Fourth Annual Golf Outing
Some two dozen golfers gathered July 22nd for the fourth annual Central States Door Dealer Association best-ball golf tournament, braving heat indexes over 110-degrees during the afternoon.
Winners of the outing with an 8-under score was the Springfield Overhead Door team of Aaron Hart, Gary Defrates, and Adam Schneider. Defrates also took home a check for the longest drive of the day while Marantec’s Brent Dykhouse took honors for the tee shot closest to the pin. Longest putt of the day went to Royal Campbell of Glenn Brothers Garage Doors.
Following the tournament, the group enjoyed dinner in the clubhouse and brief comments from association president David Ziegenhorn, who outlined upcoming activities for the association.

Joe Wilde Company's Ed Vesbach was presented an award as the IDA 2011 Technician of the year during the Awards Banquet Thursday night. Ed has served Joe Wilde Co. for an amazing 60 years while still 90 years-young. Congratulations Ed!
